the expansive parkland with umbrella pines, leafy, shaded areas and manicured gardens are a twitchers delight!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Rome\u2019s parakeets are a familiar sight in tree-lined neighbourhoods across the city, released over the years from private aviaries, they are among the few parrot species to have successfully adapted to living in an urban environment. <\/span><b>The Rose-Ringed Parakeet<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and the <\/span><b>Monk Parakeet<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, are a common sight in leafy areas of the city (much to resident\u2019s dismay).\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\" >\n\t\t<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the Palatine Hill, <\/span><b>the enormous brick remains are often speckled with the parakeets that make Rome their home<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">;
